How much does it cost? Is it affordable?

Our membership scheme make Private GP services very affordable for the whole family. Enjoy all the benefits from as little as £35 a month for an adult member and £28 a month for a child member.

Who will I see?

You will be seen by experienced regular GP’s; this will provide continuity of care.

How long are the appointments?
Our standard appointments are 20 minutes long. This gives you the time to discuss more than one problem with ease without feeling rushed.
How do I join?
Joining is easy, and can be done by phone on 01483 452 555 or in person by visiting our surgery.
Is there a joining fee?
There is a one-off non refundable joining fee. Please see our fee guide.
Are there any Corporate discounts?
Corporate discounts are available. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and we can tailor a bespoke package for your business.
Can I see the doctor without becoming a member?
It is not necessary to become a member to see the doctor. A 20 minute consultation can be booked for as little as £1o0.
How do I book an appointment?
Making an appointment is easy by phone or online.

What are the opening hours?
We are open 7 days a week, Mon-Fri 08.00-20.00, from 09.00-17.00 on Saturdays, and on Sundays from 09.00-13.00.
Can I make a telephone appointment with the doctor?
All telephone appointments are included for members as a benefit of their subscription.

How does the membership scheme work? What does it include?
Membership allows patients to access 20 minute appointments as and when needed, including telephone consultations. Private prescriptions and referral letters are included. All adult members are offered an annual complimentary Health Screen as part of their membership.

How do I complain if I am not happy?
If you are dissatisfied in any way and wish to make a complaint, please send this in writing addressed to the Manager.
What happens to my complaint and how quickly is it dealt with?
Your complaint will be acknowledged within 5 working days, and a full written response will be made within 14 working days there after.
Is there any parking?
Limited parking is available on-site. However there is plenty of free parking immediately outside our premises on London Road.
Is there disabled access and parking?
There is disabled parking on-site. The practice is ramp accessible and has disabled access toilet.
Should I stay with my NHS GP too?
We encourage you to stay with your NHS GP and we are happy to give reports to you so that you maintain continuity with them.
How do you store my records?
Patient records are stored securely on our Information Management System. These can be shared with you by secure email.
Do you share my records with others?
Records are only shared with third parties with patient’s prior consent, unless there is a legal obligation upon us to so do. This could include a child protection or adult safeguarding situation.
What happens if I need a prescription?
A limited on site pharmacy will be able to dispense simple antibiotics and analgesia. However, private prescriptions for other items not stocked by us will be issued free of charge to members (but at additional cost for non-members).
Can you issue NHS prescriptions, what should I do if you suggest a medication and I want it on the NHS?
As a Private GP clinic we are unable to issue NHS prescriptions, however, we can give you a complimentary report with the rationale for prescribing so that you may inform your NHS GP and request a prescription from them.
What happens if I miss an appointment?
Please inform us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment so we can offer this to other patients. Patients will be charged the full cost of the missed consultation if less then 24 hours notice is given.
What happens if I am late?
Please be punctual for your appointments so that other patients are not inconvenienced. If you are running late please call us, we will try our best to accommodate you, or reschedule your appointment.

Do you offer home visits?
Home visits are available at additional cost and are not included in membership packages. Please see our fee guide.
How do I cancel my membership?
Membership can be cancelled at any time by giving one month’s written notice. We will acknowledge your request within 7 days.

Are your premises modern and CQC approved?
Our premises are modern, state of the art, purpose built and CQC approved.

How does my membership work with my Private Medical Insurance?
Your membership perfectly complements Private Medical Insurance and ensures a seamless private experience. Our admin staff would be happy to talk through specific details personally.
What if I need a referral letter, and can I choose a specialist or hospital of my choice if I need specialist care?
All referral letters for members are provided without extra charge. Our doctors are completely independent of all hospitals. In the event of needing specialist referrals, we will endeavour to offer a choice of the most appropriate specialists that fit in with the needs of the patient.
How do you ensure you are delivering great care and customer service?
We continually strive to improve and maintain our services by having strong governance. We have robust policies and procedures in place. Work is audited for quality assurance and we always act on any feedback from our members. We also ask patients to fill out satisfaction questionnaires and join Patient Participation Groups to give feedback if they wish.
Do you have any other practitioners, such as physio at your premises?
Visiting practitioners will be attending Levitas Clinic Guildford, please ask our reception for further details.

Can children register independent of adults?
Children can only be registered as members after a parent has registered first and this membership must last the duration of the child’s membership. However, children can be seen on a case by case basis without having to take out membership.

Do you offer vaccinations/ flu jabs/travel meds/ insurance medicals etc?
We offer all these services, please see our fees.
